What is the weather like in Greece during sailing season?

The climate in Greece is mild. Winter is rainy with extended periods of sunshine, summer is hot and dry.

The warm period starts in April and ends end of October with and average air temperature from 20 to 30 Celsius.

The warmest period is during June, July and August, and the temperature is between 29 to 38 Celsius. The north winds, known as ‘Meltemi’, blowing mainly in the Aegean.
